You’ve played down the park or trained with your team for years but there’s always two or three players claiming to be the best at something. Whether that’s shooting, pin point accuracy or the biggest debate….who is the quickest. Well at Maestro Football Challenges we have six challenges across the main skills to test your ability and record once and for all who is the greatest of them all.
Record all six challenges using our Maestro FC web app and you can create a personalized FUT card which gives each player their score for speed, passing, dribbling, shooting, fitness and skill as well as their overall score.
This is always one of the hottest topics at training, who is the speed merchant of the team. For this attribute we have gone for the ‘Bib Pick Up’ to test both speed and agility. The rules are simple, four cones laid out with a bib at each check point. Return all bibs to the start point for the timer to stop.

An underrated skill which when acquired can control a game from start to finish. To prove yourself in this attribute we have gone back to a classic – the ‘crossbar challenge’. Ten attempts to hit the crossbar as many times as possible whilst also trying to do it in the quickest time possible. You can take a look at our How to video below.

With teams better tuned in defensively it’s never been more important to have a player who can beat a player with speed and the ability to dribble. One player showing that at the minute is Wolves’ Adama Traore who has come on leaps and bounds under Nuno Espirito and shown how you can unlock the defence with a direct dribbling technique. Show you’ve got what it takes in our ‘Dribble Box’ challenge which combines short close control with straight line speed.

Good stamina takes a lot of personal training away from the usual once a week team training session and this challenge tests your ability to make those lung busting runs. ‘Kamikaze Run’ at first has two short doggies between the 6 yard / 18 yard box but then finishes off with a 50 yard out and back which rewards the fitter and more determined players in those last yards. You can watch the simple how to video below.

A good touch and technique is perhaps the best way for a player to showcase their football skills. Made famous by many of the great players like Pele and Cruyff but now a necessity in most modern footballers. Use the ‘Touch in Square’ challenge to test your first touch by stopping a fast-paced pass dead in set out area.
